SMAX succession game

    FlameFlash: sure. This game will be over in a few successions, and i imagine that we might like to try it again.

    Turn 2253: maybe a quick war with the University will help matters…took university sea base in the area of my general offensive, treaty with the University, and pact + 175 EC with Angels. On another front, one of the now five Usurper cities is now in my hands (prematurely, I might add). Main offensive is scheduled to begin in 4 turns. Also captured Caretaker land base within drop range of nearest Usurper city. Consciousness has PBs.
    Turn 2354: Usurper base probed back. Attempting to gain air superiority.
    Turn 2355: Air superiority achieved. Commencing aerial bombardment.
    Turn 2356: Turned sea base in area into land base. Continued aerial bombardment. Pushed back attack date by two years.
    Turn 2357: **** missiles. Took out my cheap drop infantry and probes. AND, it was the Caretakers, who do not have any bases within missile range. Attack still on revised schedule, I hope. Started moving native life into Usurper territory, whishing that they didn’t have the neural amplifier, and wishing that I had PBs.
    Turn 2358: Strike force Alpha 3-4 turns away from primary objective, strike force beta will be in position in one turn, and my drop reserves are in range of target. Air superiority has been achieved, and any units outside of bases have been pounded into oblivion.
    Turn 2359: Attack. Two out of five bases are now in my hands. All ground units within range of said bases have been eliminated, and both are protected by probe teams. Complete air superiority has been achieved, and any reinforcements the Usurpers try to bring in will be eliminated before they have a chance to see my units.
    Turn 2360: Usurper massive missile attack knocks out entire occupation force, reinforcements en route, Aliens have no units to occupy empty bases, as all they seem to build are missiles.
    Turn 2361: Took Usurper sea base.
    Turn 2362: Captured Usurper base on the main continent (size 9), destroyed resultant colony pods, sold improvement.
    Turn 2363: Lost Usurper base on main continent (probed). Took last remaining Usurper base on secondary continent, killed a bunch of probes.
    Turn 2366: Generally annoying Usurper main continent, seized another one of their bases with the all-powerful 1-1-1 drop infantry. And on a more sinister note; the lone Consciousness base by the manifold nexus. I want it. I want it bad. There is a probe team one turn away. You know what I mean.

      2366: lost Razorwing city, discovered Homo Superior
      2367: Took over Gamma Breakwater, gained control over Manifold Nexus
      2368: Started secret projects, will expand some more
      2369: Long live the mighty 1/1-Drop infantry. Another Usurper city fell to the copter and was occupied by the infantry. I shall call them Mighty Ducks from now on.
      2372: Discovered N-Space Compression; Global Cooling is too funny...
      2374: Two free techs: Cantauri Psi and The Will to Power
      2378: Started to equip bigger cities with robotic factories and genejack factories...nice production capacity there!
      The AI doesnt seem to like attacking mind worms, even the ones that sit next to a city. Hehe.

        Turn 2384: can now build tanks. If I choose to (undecided as of now), hover tank assault on main consciousness bastion could be quite successful…
        Turn 2386: am now seeing the benefits of a tank rush against the Conscious. Changing production accordingly.
        Turn 2388: Consciousness seems to be operating a probe-heavy military. The dream twister is also an evil project, and I am seriously considering PBing them during the sunspots to eliminate that threat. Stole some tech, however, I expect that my rather tenuous hold on the beachhead near the consciousness headquarters is about to fall.
        Turn 2392: attempting to enforce a barrier between the monsoon jungle and the consciousness probe teams and mindworms. Any unit left in a city will be obliterated by Usurper missiles, and the above mindworms are rather deadly with the dream twister.
        Turn 2393: the consciousness has air superiority around all their bases. This attack could take a little while…
        Turn 2395: Usurpers have two PBs in range of my core bases.
        Turn 2396: rather a good turn. Captured a consciousness base, secured another base, and killed all the units in a third. Destroyed innumerable conscious mindworms: elite tanks are good things indeed. Did not have two of my bases obliterated by PBs, and I now have a few PBs of my own.
        Turn 2398: consciousness has an ungodly amount of needlejets: 3/4 of attack force destroyed. I did kill 8 penetrators, and 8 mindworms though.
        Turn 2401: quantum powaaaaaaaah! Large amounts of cash spent upgrading.
        Turn 2404: large force trying to capture consciousness base destroyed. Oh well.

          2408 -> Captured a 16/8/4 from cyborgs, gained access to 4 reactor and 16 attack units. Building 16/1/4 Tanks (cloacked).
          I am thinking of PBing the Cyborgs out of existence...but the SP that will be lost are destined to be mine!

            I got rid of many of the gene jack factories 'cause i was faced with eco damage and drone riots, and did not have the resources to deal with them easily and maintain my beachhead near the Consciousness.

              Turn 2419: graviton gun.
              Turn 2420: attacked native life stack, gained 1100 credits
              Turn 2421: large eco damage from industry. Took chi plains, after a long fight. With luck, I might be able to hold it.
              Turn 2423: beachhead near consciousness base now secure. Closest consciousness base has 4 SPs in it. The next ten turns are going to be fun…(-->> illiria)

                Turn 2433: massive native life assault on home continent. Am recalling army to deal with threat.
                Turn 2434: my units dominate Chiron. I am embarking on a large string skybase rush, and though I don’t think that I can conquer the planet in eight turns, its going to be close…
                Turn 2436: foothold achieved on main Usurper continent. Two-pronged offensive in order. One prong attacking from the foothold, the other prong cleaning up the Usurper sea bases to the south and attacking from those bases.
                Turn 2438: attacking Usurper continent from all my surrounding sea bases. Projected operation duration: 6 years.
                Turn 2439: Freshwater sea and Great Dunes now thoroughly in my hands. Around their main bases, however, there defense is incredibly strong (>55).
                Turn 2441: 2/3 of Usurper continent under my control, also under my control critical projects HSA and neural amplifier. Last bastions of alien resistance are under considerable pressure, and can be eradicated within 5 years. Am going for the diplomatic victory currently, though I am fairly close to the threshold of transcendence. Also, there is a nasty native life problem in the home continent: every turn there is about three pops.

                  finished the game in 2448, Transcendence. The last turns were mostly killing off the Aliens, the Consciousness and the University who happened to have a pact with the wrong people.

                            It looks like fun, though might it be wise to have smaller teams and maybe multiple games? I'm just thinking about how long it seems to circulate a turn between all four of us.
                            I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...

                            Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

                              We could have teams of two, with the number of teams being equal to the number of players we get divided by 2.

                              Then, we could play with the same preferences and location, and see who gets the higher score...

                                Admiral, are you a mathematician?

                                How about we have multiple games going on, with 2 players per game. This way we can compare without sacrificing the influence a player has on the game?
