Turn 2253: maybe a quick war with the University will help matters…took university sea base in the area of my general offensive, treaty with the University, and pact + 175 EC with Angels. On another front, one of the now five Usurper cities is now in my hands (prematurely, I might add). Main offensive is scheduled to begin in 4 turns. Also captured Caretaker land base within drop range of nearest Usurper city. Consciousness has PBs.
Turn 2354: Usurper base probed back. Attempting to gain air superiority.
Turn 2355: Air superiority achieved. Commencing aerial bombardment.
Turn 2356: Turned sea base in area into land base. Continued aerial bombardment. Pushed back attack date by two years.
Turn 2357: **** missiles. Took out my cheap drop infantry and probes. AND, it was the Caretakers, who do not have any bases within missile range. Attack still on revised schedule, I hope. Started moving native life into Usurper territory, whishing that they didn’t have the neural amplifier, and wishing that I had PBs.
Turn 2358: Strike force Alpha 3-4 turns away from primary objective, strike force beta will be in position in one turn, and my drop reserves are in range of target. Air superiority has been achieved, and any units outside of bases have been pounded into oblivion.
Turn 2359: Attack. Two out of five bases are now in my hands. All ground units within range of said bases have been eliminated, and both are protected by probe teams. Complete air superiority has been achieved, and any reinforcements the Usurpers try to bring in will be eliminated before they have a chance to see my units.
Turn 2360: Usurper massive missile attack knocks out entire occupation force, reinforcements en route, Aliens have no units to occupy empty bases, as all they seem to build are missiles.
Turn 2361: Took Usurper sea base.
Turn 2362: Captured Usurper base on the main continent (size 9), destroyed resultant colony pods, sold improvement.
Turn 2363: Lost Usurper base on main continent (probed). Took last remaining Usurper base on secondary continent, killed a bunch of probes.
Turn 2366: Generally annoying Usurper main continent, seized another one of their bases with the all-powerful 1-1-1 drop infantry. And on a more sinister note; the lone Consciousness base by the manifold nexus. I want it. I want it bad. There is a probe team one turn away. You know what I mean.
