Minor officials finally convince Sultan Rue to open the coffers and raise the minimum wage. He does so reluctantly. There's nothing like a huge pile of gold to raise the dais above the humdrum of the inferior common folk.

In an earlier post I announced that I will be away from my computer from June 5 -13. However, I have since learned that I will have access to computers while away. So if Baston sends the turn per usual, it will be forwarded to me and I'll play my turn as usual. This game is starting to get interesting and I don't want to miss a turn.

The Native Americans have a diplomatic envoy on route to Germany. They hope to establish an embassy in the near future. From there the next planned destination will be Ethiopia! Onward ever onward!

The Turkish people welcome the establishment of a French embassy in our fair land. They are even more excited about the anticipated grand opening of the Embassy Bistro.
