Other things being equal, an earlier victory should always score higher than a later one, as you have achieved your objective more efficiently.

No more SOD:s in civ5 and I would be happy. It just does not make any sence to place 50 units in the same tile. In a real war, troops are more spread out than that. War should also be more complicated than just "The one with the biggest SOD ultimately wins!"
          GOWIEHOWIE! Uh...does that
          even mean anything?

              That's why we have catapults.

Remove the UN or fix it. As it is, it's actively bad for the game.

Second would be the Emancipation happy penalty. Get rid of that, by all means.

I just want the "new" space race removed, to make room for the "old" space race, where you could still win even if the AI had sent the space ship away, you just needed to build a better one
This space is empty... or is it?

Yes, I liked different space ships as an option.

UN. I would say remove it but I usually just turn it off.

Make the AI realize that some victory condition are not in play.

                    AIRPORT bases neeed a comeback.

                    More Navel options.

Better DIPLO, no redding out, I don't care what they want, at least I'll know I didn't have enough. And the AI forgetting a minor transgression that happened 2000 years ago

                    And MORE BLAKE.

And finally, yes, no cheap upgrades. It really irritates me when they upgrade 150 rifleman to infantry and still have 1000 dollars left. When I had barely enough to upgrade my 5 best rifleman.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Re: What do you want removed from Civ 5 ?

                      1. AI cheating (I know it's difficult, but make the AI better and remove its bonuses instead).

                      2. The need to upgrade my comp in order to play it.

The current war wearyness (sp?) model.

Your citizens are unhappy if your winning a war without losses, that's just stupid, they should be happy.

Also, the amount of war weariness, and its rate of increase, should be related to how much the two civilisations hate/like each other.
For example, I don't think Australian citizens would be too happy about Australia invading New Zealand.

The system of giving disadvantages to the player on higher levels (I'd rather see a smarter AI, and maybe an additional handicap situation).

Myself, I just want a level where there is zero handicap across the board, weather they call it Noble like in Civ 4 or Prince in Civ 3.

I think one level above standard should have 10% AI benifit and one level below standard should have 10% human benifit

What I want removed is the "don't tell the player the enemy just landed near your cities" feature... The AI just landed two stacks of units next to two of my cities, and nuked a third city. The nuke I never saw, I just found the fallout when they took the nearby cities, and I only saw ships (no transporters though), no land units
This space is empty... or is it?
