Well, in one particular game the german translators got the Englesh sentecen 'Increase the park value to XXX' turned into the Swedish sentence "Tjäna XXX" which in english would be "Earn XXX"

And half the sentense were lost in the german translation, that is half way (don't remeber the worrdings the translation company had used for that)

Just why didn't they hire some real translators? It's the same in Civ2!!

It's easist to have one company do all translations, and not hire translators for each country.

There are some good translated games thou... EA are usually good at translating. (SC3000and The Sims are very good Swedish translations)
Theme Hospital are quite good, but than if you have to find swedes to speak they will probably react to strange stuff. Only one tihn that I can think of that is totally wring in them hospital, and it's the translation go "Cold" (the illness) to "Avkylning" thather than "Förkylning" (Incorrect preposition, and makes it really strange)

They aren't translated to Swedish, so I will not comment on that (as I've not tested any other translated adventure game either)

Looks like my own unfinished effort for a mod of Civ2 (Biological Evolution) which did not have a tech tree chart . Anyone know of a program for generating neat charts?

Its like one of those maze games you get on the tray with a kiddies meal at Burger King.

Ive got a Japanese version of civ2 and the tech tree inside that manual is easier to understand...

You should get someone to look at that eye.

At least its still more legible than most business flow diagrams.
