    the following from Wernazuma

Finally the Civ3 Extra Pack is here!
It took quite some time and there's still some things to be done in order to make it perfect.
The Civilopedia still lacks a few entries as for the Poles and Vikings and a few units. Also, a few units are not yet what I call an ideal solution - the Ship of the Line is the same graphic as the Man-O-War, the Arab Camel Rider is too big, the Kobukson not animated and a few minor issues.
For copyright reasons, I was not able to integrate the graphics and information from the Polish-Civ Mod by LoD, so unless we can resolve this problem, we have to do without a Polish description and without the excellent graphics from the mod, which is a pitty.
Yet, I decided to release the ExtraPack a bit premature, because for one thing I thought that Civ3 players are used to premature releases , and secondly I wanted to release it before PTW comes out. A special thanks goes here for everyone who participated, also if he isn't mentioned in the ReadMe (complain if you think I forgot you).

I hope, you'll all enjoy playing the Apolyton Expansion Pack, have fun!

This sounds like a great extra pack! I'll download it right now. But tell me: can you move the home page to another place, as I get an error saying the page has reached it's maximum limit...

Any way to access leader and unit pics without excessive download?

Well, they're all around here and at Civfanatics, if you want to download them seperately. They're also on my homepage, when the page is up again.
Anyway, the graphics make 99% of the size of the EP.

What exactly did Locutus do, i thought he only worked on Call to Power 2 ??

                Are there any screenshots?

Why are there civs here that are going to be in the expansion anyway ?

Will this work with the expansion ?

im having trouble playing a game. i get to the screen where you pick a civ, and if you pick one of the 15 additional civs, civ3 just shuts down, no popup or anything! it doesnt happen if you pick americans or chinese or whatever, just the new civs i have tried (dutch and israelis)

its strange. like i said, there is no message!

He started the project and got discussion rolling. Then he decided to let Civ3 be Civ3 and concentrated on CtP2, so I continued the project.

                    Are there any screenshots?
Not yet, I'll have a look and maybe post some tomorrow.

Why are there civs here that are going to be in the expansion anyway ?
Because it was not designed for PTW but for original Civ3. It makes all those civs available also to those who won't buy PtW

Will this work with the expansion ?
I have no idea about the compatibility with PtW. We'll have to try out. But surely the EP will be adapted to PtW too.

jdd: a) which version of Civ3 do you play. It's weird - we didn't have this problem in gametesting...

I'm sorry to be a downer but this is a pretty poor quality mod. It is just a collection of other people's work, some high quality, some low. It was not worth downloading. I have already made a better mod with all the extras of this mod and some more. For me atleast, it is nothing new. I am sure it has been very useful for some people.

For the less-than-computer-savvy among us, is there any simple way to install all this stuff? I only ask because not everyone is innately familiar with every file in the Civ3 directory and I think it would probably take me an hour or so to sort all of these files out and send them to the correct places.
