It's a small bug, but precision bombing does work (unlike air superiority and other stuff).

I tried this, it still doesnt work for me.

No, I was referring to the fact that Thoth mentioned he had managed to use a couple of interceptors against the AI. Perhaps I misunderstood.
I've seen my stealth bombers going down against AI fighters too.

I'm sorry for you then, but it'll probably be fixed with next week's patch.
Also, pressing down "B" allows me to use cruise missiles against enemy units with only 1 hit point left (couldn't do it otherwise).
