Oh, and are there support text files included to help scn makers (for example, nice to see that they use *.wav sounds, but firaxis should be more specific (stereo?,max.sampling rate etc.., the same for other game files).

Or is this all explained in the editor(s)?

Good stuff, Pezz. Rather than creating a new folder you might want to try to copy an existing folder and just change all the names (e.g. Bomber->Bomber2), for all the file names and in the .INI file too (I suspect)...

Yeah, I, like Gramphos, would very much like to see those files too, it would be fantastic if you (or anyone else for that matter) could attach a sample...

      Bebro,
Yeah, those are probably anims. It's almost inevitable to have that sort of stuff in seperate files, compress it and all... CtP also had this. Most likely Firaxis will eventually release an editor, just a matter of time (I hope).

Thanks I´m curious, Dan Magaha said one could decide between using animated unts or normal images when customizing the game, this means in my eyes that civ3 must support other gfx formats too, or?

or that since flc is a pretty common format(it's from the days of 3d studio for dos) you could probably find some utility to create flc files from a simple jpg/gif

                  Bomber unit files

I can't zip the entire folder since the resulting file is above the 200k message board limit, but here are some files you can play with. I don't know what the .amb file is.
