Is there ever a situation when you should seriously consider moving your capital? In my current game, I have almost exclusive control over one continent with my capital located in the northern reaches thereof. The shortest crossing to the other major continent is in the far south making it a very long supply route from the heart of my empire to the border where conflict occurs.
Should I consider moving my palace to a more centrally located city? My concern is that this will require additional buildup in the cities around the new capital before I have a new core of highly productive cities from which to continue to wage war. For the more experienced among us, is this a situation when you might consider moving your capital? Is there ever a time to consider that? Thanks!
