    I found little use for aircraft. Usually, by the time I can build them I don't need them.

      Well, Vince, in that case I can only suggest you try the Alamo scenario. Believe me, you'll welcome the aircraft, without them you're dead.

            Well, F-15s can be useful when you are going for conquest on a huge map...I never finished a game with them, but it was nice to have to solely rely on stealth bombers to get the job done...

              The idea is the same (having to stand your ground before you can escape by SS), not the setting. It is completely in the modern ages, with MA, stealths, Aegis and a couple of nukes. And you will lose if you try to hold on for too long...
