    Wish F11 screen were better

I know that the "Demographics" screen is a Civ classic, but I'd like to see (as others have mentioned) more useful statistics (and some more not-so-useful)--tons of them that you can tailor and turn on/off to your liking. Then, there could be options to allow you to see some portions of other players' stats for intelligence purposes or just for fun. The reason for more stats would be mostly just "brain candy"--the fun and satisfaction of knowing that you've killed 34 English Archers, or have 51 Temples, or are just 100 beakers away from a new tech, or have a total of 2,000 shields produced per turn. Yes, some of those things are pretty useless, but it might be interesting to some people. It might provide more gauges for progress in your civ or a rival civ.

Ohhh, holy, I can't tell you how much I want the 'units killed' screen back from Civ2!
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

I believe this is in the demo screen, under Mfg. Goods.

You and me both, T. I've gotten to where I set up a spreadsheet for post-Espionage wars to track enemy casualties. It's a little tedious to remember to check F3 at the beginning and end of each turn, but it's worth it.

Yup I miss the lost units and they one they provide is lame.

I am a nut for things to dwell on, so give me some more data please. You can make it a preference to be enabled or disabled.

How about selection for more screens from the F11 to get the details?

True. Part of what I am saying is that there should be stats available that simply say what they mean, as opposed to stats that you have to translate as in the F11 screen.

Someone told me there was a bug with the Internet that, in some circumstances, allowed you to have literacy rates over 100%. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

This should be an easy thing to deliver. I mean, if extra informational screens are constructed, a user would be able to safely ignore them and play the game.

I'm like you, the more data, the better. Especially in those close games, where each detail is everything. Better to savor a closely fought win.

As a matter of fact thats why godking asked the question
Is that why you spent so much time on the last turn?

                      It could very well be.

Which game are you talking about

I'm getting to the point where I feel like dismissing the whole game. One thing is the extremely slow pace, we're not likely to finish within the next 3 years if this continue. Another aspect is the amount of cheats/exploits etc that has posined this game

bongo my friend I dont believe you would get a lot of arguements about abandoning that game with the Apoly guys, but thats a different subject.

If you are really serious bring it up at the UN.

The only reason I still stick around is some sort of misguided loyalty to the team when most of the rest of the rats have already left the sinking ship.............
