Two powers building themself up untill they finally meet with 500 Modern Armors, 30 Carriers loaded with Stealth Bombers, transports crawling of Armies filled with those Armors and the race for Nukes just rising as a demonic sun in the background. That day E.T. was happy he got home in time and Predator really regretted he got out of bed.

Think I should create and unleash the power of Aman soon....

      Exactly
I'm actually a builder most of the time when I play in single player, until I have a huge kick a$$ army to start a frontal mega war against my biggest nemesis.

the problem if you start on an isolated place like aman or numenor: you'll never even get to the modern times before the others already start the spaceship or send a fleet of their own to take you down.

I have experienced that, yes, especially if you are unable to contact anyone like here. But at this map, Middle Earth lack places to build cities as they can only be build on grasslands. Aman and Numenor don't so the trade benefits lost in being alone are regained in the high number of cities and resources. I don't have the game here, but I think I remember it was only one or two locations where people of Aman must guard, so an invasion will be difficult (and playing against the AI, they will never launch a huge attack from the sea)

Thank you for all the good notes

I have to explain something: the jungle cannot be cleaned. In the past was possible but Aman grown in to a dangerous size making too easy (for a human) to win.

                Let's try!

                (From LOTR appendix, last edition:
..."but then, in the early fourth age, Aman was overrun by Orcs able to launch the most devastating fireball Frodo and everybody else had ever seen. In seconds miles and miles of land where turned into burning ashes. Frodo wondered if the life of Arda would ever learn...")

I think I will play with Numenor.. it's in the middle to launch a massive attack to Aman and Middle Earth

I started with Egyptians at Aman. It's now turn 21, Thebes has the Oracle and Pyramids, entered a Golden Age and produces 89 shields, 114 food and 51 commerce. This extra-resource is insane, the craziest stuff I've ever seen! And all the huts around there created a horde of barbarians that take some time to kill. Thebes has also 103 cultural points and it's borders are 6 squares away! It will be a mass production of wonders this one....

Hihi, and I built marketplaces in 3-4 cities at the same time, increase my GPT by 10 for each city! This is fun...

Take care! There are at least 3 more enemies with a similar production as you.

bah I thought this was a completed map of the contemporary (late 3rd age) of Arda not an old map cobbled together... I could point out all the badness in geography but would rather say KUDOS to maiking a map of more than just middle earth... you added on and that's commendable.
