The first ever C3C Apolyton Univestity game, AU501: The Power of Seafaring is going to start at the end of this week. Make sure you don't miss it! It's going to be a great learning experience, and a chance to see how other players take advantage of the new Seafaring trait.
Comparing your game to others', you will get a chance to see how the new corruption model in the 1.15 patch affects the balance of governments, Forbidden Palace placement, and strategy in general. You will get first-hand experience with the Byzantine Dromon. You can play under stock rules, or you can be one of the first to play a game with the C3C version of the AU mod. And if you feel like a challenge, you can even play against an AI that makes better research decisions so that it's more unpredictable and takes advantage of its civ traits.
In case you're wondering, Apolyton University is a school of strategy, where students sharpen their Civ3 skills and share their experiences in a series of thematic games. When playing an Apolyton University game, gaining and sharing knowledge is more important than getting a high score, a fast finish, or even winning the game.
