I have it. I received it Friday from Amazon.com. I am still waiting on my Conquests CD from Amazon, but I purchased a copy of Conquests from Electronics Boutique Nov 5th.

As reported by Jeff of Atari:

Dear Civ Fanatics, I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed participating in the forums and interacting with each of you as we count down to the release of Civ Conquests. Hopefully, you've enjoyed seeing all of us from Atari, Firaxis, and Breakaway poking our heads in here to keep you updated...

Do you think they'll ever allow the content on it to be downloaded? True it is being retailed as a gift for dedicated fans but only in North America.

          I'm dedicated too goddammit!

[edit] Didn't refresh in time to see the above post.

That's... it? At least it isn't anything exclusive then.

I think the only exclusive stuff is some of the screenshots, art, and music files which haven't been publicly released, but are in the game. I am not sure about the strategy guides.

I know that at least one of the strat guides (likely both) were written new for C3C (Chieftess wrote one!), so they will not be available elsewhere right now. Whether they will be made available or not, of course, is puere speculation.

I'm kinda annoyed by the bonus CD. The least they could do is explain the various mods or how to load the new terrain, and stuff like that. They have a fancy loader screen, but all it does is open up a folder. You have to figure out what to do on your own.

Dang it. If I wanted to trudge through a zillion forums to find those answers, I wouldn't need the dang cd!

Isn't it all fan-made stuff? They downloaded it in the first place.

Mostly it is. There are the screen shots and music and strategy guides that were made special for it.

Yeah, I missed out on it (didn't preorder and my wife picked up a copy for me and perhaps didn't communicate with the guy properly)

but who cares, this game is a blast
