Startup problem - solution
I have a work-around for jnrothen's problem.
I initially thought that the problem with the language files, but it's the version check that's in error.
When I disconnected my network cable, the program no longer spat out an error. Forcing a network error immediately stops the program from hitting the network timeout code...

fired this up after a long time again and got wierd subscript out of range, error 9 messages.
turns out my software firewall blocks the connections to your site (update i guess). when i let it through, it worked fine.
minor bug, nothing bad... but could be done in v1.12.3, should you find the motivation to continue (with civ4 round the corner hardly likely )- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

I'll probably continue to support this tool to some level. Maybe the same that has been the last two years or so. But I'll probably not add any more new features.Creator of the Civ3MultiTool

I don't think I'll make a Civ4 save editor. I really see no need for it with the extensive mod options that they will offer. I might create some tool to help moding the xml and python files. All depends on how mush time I can spend on it, and that I don't know yet.Creator of the Civ3MultiTool

Everytime I try to load the Civopedia Editor it gives me an "No Rules loaded into memory. Do you want to load civ3bic? (The BIC is only used to assign titles to the keys.)" So I go ahead a press "Yes" and an error pops up saying "Not a Civ3 file" followed by "Bad file name or number" and then by "Not a Civ3 file". After I click ok on the third error, the gui does not reappear and the program starts using 100% of my CPU, so I have to manually end task. The log file is saying it is not able to detect the location of Civilization III install path. I was wondering if you had some type of work around that I could use? I really like this tool as it has many great and easy of use features.

Map Import/Export Problem:
I'm playin' civ3 1.29f and I have some problems with c3mt:
I load save to SGE and export map as a bic (i can do that only with 0.96 0.98!! new wersions don't work due to problems after export and import - because of an error) and I add some resources with editor... then I import the map to the save and when I run civ3 and want to play this save the game crashes at the end of the turn or after a couple of turns
CAN somebody help me PLEASE...Last edited by morpheusrob; December 6, 2005, 18:13.

I have this ^ exact same problem. Clicking "Abort" comes up with...

Call Stack:

Whereas clicking "Ignore" comes up with:
Error: Object variable or With block variable not set (91) in C3MT @ frmSaveEdit.frm Line 4518
Call Stack:

The few things I've changed in the normal map/rules editor are things like terrain production (mining allowed in forests etc), effects of pollution (all changed to "None"), and only me being allowed to build Nukes (so the AI doesn't go mad with them)... Save file is attached if anyone has any ideas.Attached Files
