    I know that it works beacuse i have newest Dyp and that works perfect on my computer... My civ version is not illigeal

          Do you think you somehow have mixed textfiles from different versions or anything. (What happens if you remove the new tech from the bix file temporary Does it work then or is it still the error?)

            ok, i might sound a little stupid when posting this....

            Can someone make a step to step guid to making new techs i seam to have done something wrong.... and i cant find out what i have tried a lot to fix?

            Step 1: add tech....

            Step 2: you finish it....

                  Damn i tried this with conquests and now i get another error here it is. ERROR READING FILE Missing Entry In "Text\Pediaicons.txt" : Desc_Tech_Fire. The game will now exit

                      Are you sure it reads pediaicons.txt?

                      You will need to have
                      #Tech_Fire and #DESC_Tech_Fire in civilpoedia.txt, but I'm not sure why it would be needed in pediaicons.txt.


                      You might try to use the civilopediaeditor in C3MT to edit the files.
