Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Well, Sabre, I guess I could, except that I have not modified all of these yet. I am currently playing my Mira map, which is the last one I modified. I have several to go before I am done. Maybe I will batch up the first dozen, would that be cool?

Okay, I batched up all my Civ 3 Conquests maps for the letter A, 8 maps in all! Included are:
Aldebaran
Algol
Alkaid
Alphecca
Alphertz
Altair
Antares
Arcturus

ouch... if you start antares on deity and unfortunatly begin in the middle, you'll lose the first turn AND have to walk 50 turns to plant your first city. because the AI will always be a step ahead. and with 2 settlers, 4 workers, 12 defensive and 6 offensive units... you'll never get past
- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity
- Atheism is a nonprophet organization.
Just a reminder on these maps... I have restricted cities to: forest, plains, flood plains, grassland. That's it. I design a lot of these maps to force humans and AI alike to use colonies. Many of these maps will have large land areas that cannot be settled. Of course, a human can plant a forest on a tundra square, or clear a jungle, to get at a key resource.
Also notice that these maps are climatologically correct. Rubber is most likely to be found near the equator.
Barbarians like to hoard resources. It is likely early that the gold, ivory, or dyes are located at barbarian camps. The barbs don't know about iron and don't tame horses though; that's why they remain barbarians!
Artillery and radar artillery is set to kill. That's the only change to units I made to the rules. I changed a few cities around, chiefly adding Luxor to the Egyptian list, and re-doing the American list.
I will post more maps when I play-test them. I am currently up to Mira .

I play-tested it. Nobody can found a city in the first few turns, AI included. They plop down cities as soon as they find a site... which isn't always the best site. If you can get nearer to the coast, you'll find better sites for your capital. Hey, I never said it wasn't challenging!
