civ converter

Hi guys would anyone be able to help me Ive got the civ converter and put it were Its supposed to go but it wont work when I click on it it just flickers and closes. what could be wrong

civconverter is a command-line program.

I suggest you read the readme.txt more carefully. The easiest way (without converting any graphics files to the right format) is to simply drop the scenario file onto the civconverter. The converted scenario file will appear in a newly created subfolder called "Converted".
