This thread seems to be not really popular right now. What a pity! Here's something to revive it a little.

Anybody need some 18th and 19th Century British? I used an SF infantryman and JGV Cuirassier as bases. Here they are:

Thanks, Prometeus. Does this mean you're doing a War of Spanish Succession Scenario?

Here's a French fusilier and grenadier from that period. I realise they are not in keeping with the style of your units, but if you can use them help yourself.

Thanks! Jimmywax - you are right about the first post (the Brits) being 'not fresh graphics' - they are based on originals by JGV and SF, but the second post (the Frenchies) is all my own work (spot the subtle difference in style between the two..... ).

BTW do you know who JGV and SF are - I don't want to step on their toes by ripping them off, and I'd like to check they don't mind me posting these. I can't remember which scenarios I got the original cavalryman (a French cuirassier) and infantry (I think a napoleonic wars Brit) from.

These landsknechts are 'ground up' drawings (I hope!). They are early 16th century officer, pikeman and arquebusier:

Here's some Spanish War of Succession infantry.

                Top row: France, Spain, Bavaria
                Bottom row: Austria, England, Netherlands

If anyone is interested I can try some cavalry

You was talking about cavalry - and nobody to artillery, so... my artillery set.

Is this any better Prometeus - the Austrian bloke now wears a pre-1710 hat. BTW the War of Spanish Succession was 1701 - 1714....

Your wrong about the Spanish military flag - it was the Burgundy cross (red on a white ground) at this time, check this link to Flags of the World:

Somebody should do an English Civil War scenario.... here are some units (with horses robbed from JGV). First line Royalist, second line Parliament. The knights were replacements for units in John Ellis's excellent 100 Years War scenario.

French cavalry from the War of Spanish Succession:

King's Musketeer, King's Cuirassier and dragoon

(please stop me if this is getting boring. I think I might be hogging this thread )

                            Urka!!!

Heavy artillery, the mighty Irish brigade, and Empress Mary Therese. Added a Saboy marine infantry and a diplomat.

                            That cursed Microsoft Photo Editor...

                              Thanks, Fiera.

Right, this is my last War of Spanish Succession post (I promise). I've tweaked some of the units and added a French Guard, Swiss Guard, English marine, Dutch cavalry, Prussian Guard musketeer and grenadier, and a Prussian Liebregiment cavalryman.

If anyone is making a scenario (do people still make civ2 scenarios?) and needs some units doing I'm open to requests (old tart )

                                @anarchywrksbest: nice Star Trek graphics.

                                more early 18th century units......
Saxony, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Russia and some Ottomans, all from the Great Northern War.

BTW I pinched the grey horse from BeBro; the black one is my own. Can't seem to be bothered to recolour him.
