        Actually, yup, this is possible.
It'd still be possible to irigate if the underlying terrain allowed irrigation though.

        • A-HEM!

          Been there. Done that.

Check out my Dracula of Transylvania scenario. I created a terrain type called "Impaled." It appears like a field of crucified people, impaled on tall spikes across the countryside.

And Henrik, this new terrain is worthless after conversion.

And where might we find this piercing bit of scenario making?

Brian, you can find a copy on either the Spanish Civ2 site or the Civfan site.

It was put together pretty quickly, and is the result of an injoke between myself and some of my friends here who were making fun of my disgust with the power of spies/diplomats.

Y'see, I thought of these units as vampires.

And the rest . . . was history.

                    • Most of these Romans and Byzantines are a year or so old; I've given them a re-touch as they were looking a bit crappy.

                        • Didn't the 200AD legionary also had a golden cloth line and a sword belt?

I think you already had this compilation Pericles. I've re-detailed many of the units compared with the original posts; the Caesarian Romans no longer have bright yellow helmets and their shields and arms are re-drawn, for example. Some have been completely re-drawn, and some haven't been posted before. I guess I just wasn't happy with the originals

Perhaps you could redetail these too Mr Birch?
I was thinking of a shield in particular.
