        • Wehrmacht Cavalry

The Wehrmacht inherited some cavalry units from the Reichswehr. They played an extensive role on the Eastern front. In addition to their infantry horse platoons, the Germans had the 1st (East Prussia) Cavalry Brigade, later 1st Cavalry Division.

                • Henrik, I tried the same thing myself

I'm not sure about this one either

Did the French use black equipment or brown in WW2?

                  • OT: While we're sort of on the subject, does anyone know what uniforms the French (Armenian Legion) wore in Palestine in 1918? Khaki or Blue?

                    Thanx

Boco, the French army switched from dark blue and red uniforms to horizon (light) blue in Europe and khaki/sand in Africa in 1915, I think. They were pretty much the last European army to adopt camouflage uniforms, with Britain being the first (1840/50s for troops in India).

                        • Thanks Fairline. That fits what I saw in a BW photo of Algerian Spahis and ALH together. They looked a similar shade.

I'm afraid when I swapped sand for blue in your Poilu, it looked worse than the green ones you guys have misgivings about.

Does anyone know who JC and ST were in the FW scenario units?

Another republican bomber for your scenario, Pablostuka. Thanks for the comments.

                              • Tanelorn. I have a request for you, viewing you skills. Can you provide me a Breguet XIX bomber and a Nieuport 52 fighter for the Republican side? I need these for the first part of the scenario, before the arrival of the Russian airplanes
I attach one picture of the Nieuport
