  • From fairline's ww2 broitish infanrty, come a british troop sneaking a peak at the enemy positions
I am not delusional! Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go dance with the purple wombat who's playing show-tunes in my coffee cup!
Rules are like Egg's. They're fun when thrown out the window!
Difference is irrelevant when dosage is higher than recommended!

There is a utility for stripping the gamma-correction thingy (Catfish, help: I don't know what I'm talking about ) from png's so that IE displays them correctly. I'll tral back through the thread.
          Heh!

Yep, the Utility is called Mozilla Firefox!

recoloured it, took me over an hour and 8 failed attempts,( i really need to learn how to shade properly), compare it with the original and view it with x4 zoom and you'll notace the difference, i also wanted to add a guy behind it but i can't draw infantry, that's what caused 6 failed attempts, it looked like gumby manning an artillery piece,

none of them looked right, i don't know what scale techmuseh originally envisioned this 105mm howie as
and i put my sig on it beacause of all the crap i went through while playing with it, i even tried some of fairlines ww2 artillery wheels on it but they didn't look right either, it all comes down to the fact that i am a hopeless perfectionist when doing this

now what do you guys think of my flakpanzers?

It doesn't matter whether the person who posts the png file is using IE, Mozilla or any other browser; the darkening of the graphics occurs when the person who clicks and saves the png is using IE. So unless you have a surefire way of ensuring every casual browser of this site is using Mozilla, it still means that whoever posts the png in the first place needs to strip the gamma-correction thingy from the png using the utility that I've now lost.

I'm not sure if that answer is intelligable
