It's not yet out in Beijing, according to my brother, except at the suspiciously low price of 40 RMB (5 USD). I saw it on sale in Taiwan for 6.25 USD.

*sigh* Another sad case of piracy run rampant.

No, Akrowaib, I assure you that I have successfully eluded the Carthaginiens ;-)

I'm a little behind my intended schedule because of school. I've been writting a play for us to perform in the regional drama festival and that soaked up quite a bit of time, but it's finished now.

I have the next week off so I intend to work some on the program then. I really, truely, honestly, positivly mean that!!! :-)

Just be a little more patient and the universe will unfold itself as it should :-)

It seems that all the units starting from two slots right from the Explorer all act funny. I have a picture of a special unit for that slot (actually, it's a piece of Hill but that's hardly important) and instead of showing up a hill unit, it shows a strange avian unit from the sci-fi game.
Another way to get around this problem is to move all the Sprites above 50 (i.e. 51 to 79) from the \Original folder to the \ExtendedOriginal folder

Those above 50 (with the exception of 80 and 99) are only used by the ExtendedOriginal game anyway - I don't know why Microprose shoved them in the Original Folder in the first place.

        Cheers.

Within the Cheat Menu-Special Rules there are also 2 options you can switch on/off
          -unit animation lockout
          -.SPR override

Even with the spr override in Rules.txt and in the in-game scenario editor, sometimes the sprites come back, especially for certain unit slots. I found the only reliable way of keeping them out entirely was to follow Tecumseh's advice and put them into Sprite directories. That way the computer program doesn't know where they are and can't force you to see them.
