  • Useful Links

For militaries, etc, information, etc, visit these sites:

    ===

    Army Technology

The site I use most A collection of technologies in development or in use by the nations of the world.

    Naval Technology

Another excellent site on naval projects in development or currently use by nations. Another great place to get an idea for the navy.

    Air Force Technology

An excellent site on air projects in development or currently in use by nations. A great place to get an idea for new military projects.

United States Naval Museum (formerly known as USS Salem)

An excellent site on the ships composing navies of all the nations in the world.

    Röngstadt's Worldwide Military Links

An extensive collection of links to almost any military topic you can think of. Pretty helpful in some more obscure matters that are difficult to locate in certain search engines

    The CIA World Factbook

The infamous world factbook, a collection of facts and other very helpful information on every country in the world. A must for anybody actively participating in the forums.

    Library of Congress Country Studies

The Library of Congres Country Studies site is as good as and in some cases better than the CIA World factbook for information on countries of the world. Doesn't have maps and some countries are missing however, but it's still a helpful resource.

    Flags of the World

An excellent site where you can access all the flags that your nation has ever used or is currently using. Necessary resource and a great collection

    Military City

Another good site on military matters

    Jane's Information Group

THE site on all military matters. A lot of the site must be paid for, unfortunately.

    MapMachine @ National Geographic.com

A great site of maps for reference, which includes extensive magnification and detailed terrain.

    The WarShip Resource

A website about warships from across the world. Very useful.

    For your Airforce

A link with data on airforce numbers, design specs, etc

    Maps Galore

A collection of maps from countries all around the world.

    Dorling Kindersly World Reference Guide.

    Info on militaries, health, education...everything.

Neil Baumgardner's Orders of Battle Page.

Says it all. Tons of orders of battle. Very useful, have been using it since Fouth War but they've only now expanded and have tons more orders of battle.

    The X-Rate Calculator

A very useful calculator for determining most exchange rates between nations, so you won't have to say "such and such US dollars" every time you're buying something or giving foreign aid

    Financial Times

Good help for planning economies and a source of world news.

    Stratfor

An excellent site which has some military equipment distributions for several nations, as well as essays on international relations between nations. An excellent place to learn about the geopolitical status of your nation.

    Latin American Militaries

A good site with information on Latin American militaries. It is partially incomplete but should have information on at least your neighbors in the area.

    North American Special Operations Group

The North American Special Operations Group. Lots of good information there

    Answer Sleuth

This is a webpage made by the company I worked for this summer. There's tons of **** on it, but the coolest part is a huge listing of countries and cities that many may find interesting.(thanks Fast_Eddie)

Ummm, you missed the best Naval site: http://www.hazegray.org, it is better than Warships1.com.

Nah, use these, but Hazegray is ok.

Reason being for the "X" on Expert Central, is anyone you talk to is generally biased towards their nation.

Actually, I did not miss them... these are copied from Destiny of the World "ummm"

I am with the program and a expert on politics, so you would get the center-right political view from me. So I see your point. But is Hazegray is by far better than Warships1, everything is more detailed...

Also try Encarta.com for a general outline on the country. Just like CIA Factbook but expanded...
