Thanks. I'm looking forward to your scenario, too. The US Civil War is very under-represented amoung Civ2 scenarios. I wonder why?

Need another recruit Brian, or do you have a full quota?
You're right about ACW scenarios being thin on the ground; I've only played Cap'n Nemo's before C2U's new one.

You're now on the list, Gareth. I'll leave it up to the playtesters how they want to organize things. I suggest a series of pairs; one-against-one games will probably reduce the time waiting for the next guy to move inherent in a game where multiple players share one civ.

It´s a thing I also don´t understand why there are so few
Civilwar scenario around here. For me it´s a very intersting
time period and the war has many possibilities for realizing
a scenario.
There is much more work on the scenario then I thought at the beginning,
but I´m still working on it. I only can´t give you a date for the
final release. So please be patience.
Maybe I´m only a perfectionist and that is the reason for the long delay.
It´s a typical german attribute.

Any news Tech?
At Civ Webring the pace of the PBEM games has slowed right down recently due to Christmas and players studies. However there are a few of us with free time who desperately need our Civ2 fix and your ACW 2 player game would be ideal

Yes, it's almost done. I'm just finishing up the events for the Souix uprising of 1862, and those for the Plains Indians, then a playtester's Readme and it's done. I'm waiting for a few units from Fairline, but I have decent placeholders, so that won't hold it up. I'll try to have it to you on the weekend.

If you need some Sioux city styles, please feel free to use these ones which I made for my scenario. I´ve modified Curts Iroquois city sets a little bit and added some tents from the plain Indians.Originally posted by techumseh View PostYes, it's almost done. All done, except for a playtester's Readme. I'll write it tomorrow if I get my Xmas shopping done.

Sorry Brian, I probably won't get the gfx done this side of Xmas, but I have a few days off next week which should see them completed.

Sorry guys, I couldn't get the readme finished. I'll be back on Dec 27, and I'll have the week off, so I can guarantee it then.

Not to worry, I guess most peoples lives will be pretty hectic over the next few days anyway!

It's done. I'll email it to playtesters later this afternoon.

Excellent. I will set up some head-to-head battles at Webring as soon as I get the files. Does anyone here fancy a battle?
