I seem to recall an old post with this, but I could not locate it.
It might be very useful if every scenario designer (in one consolidated thread) posted links to their favorite and best (own design) scenarios so that someone quickly browsing the SLeague can find them... (Of course people can visit the website or the wiki: http://sleague.apolyton.net/index.php?title=Home, but some alas don't realize that is a good idea.)
This is good: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?t=132502
But more commentary on the scenarios such as a top 5 list might be nice!

I could almost swear I gave you some feedback after playing TWoN at some point. My main problem with the scenario was that, while it played brilliantly as as an economic modpack (so much original thinking and novel ideas) and civ 2 game for the start to mid-game, the scale of the scenario left the end game rather boring with little desire for me to finish. Far too many cities and too many units. Also, major problems with opponent civilizations blocking the waterways. My constructive criticism at the time (at least, the constructive criticism I thought I gave) was that it would probably play a lot better if the map were smaller and there were less cities on it.
on the egg.
