If I don't want to fuddle with the batch file and other stuff.. how Do I go about manually setting up each scenario?

Hi there, Mr Art!

Don't worry about the batch, it is easy to use...It just copies the nation-
specific rules/events over the normal one in the Eurasian Wars folder...

But if you want to do things the old way, what is best is to create a new
folder for each nation, and copy their specific rules and events into each.
(All nation-specific events are in the 'Events' folder)

Then in each folder, rename the events and rules into the normal name...
EG: Rules_Allied to just Rules, and Events_Allied to merely Events.

To make it work:
For example: Copy the data from the Allied folder and paste into the main folder...

The rules and events will now reflect the Allied version...

I would just use the batch though, it cuts out the hassle.
If you are having trouble running it, CHOICE is MS-DOS program that helps.

UPDATED FILE CONTENTS!

New rules and events ahoy!

The new rules are a TOTAL overhaul, and lead to much
better game balance - I'm a nut for this kind of thing!

I found the AI gave a far tougher time with boosted
unit vakues and events generated attack waves...!

Curt, I downloaded the files and installed them, but during the install the program kept asking me if I wanted to replace the files, since the new files actually were older. Is that correct?

Thanks. Still, many bmp files seem to be from februari 2009 or older, while some files already installed are from april or may 2009.

The files within the zip attached here are the ones I am using myself, and I can assure you they are OK.

Just 'yes to all' overwrite the old stuff, and I am sure it will be fine.
