    Gareth

I found the installers on Robert Mary's site and have now got all the versions of PeG working. It is good to actually be playing for a change instead of creating! I had a quick go at the Napoleonic Russian campaign the other day. Your graphics look great in game. The Napoleonic one feels a bit different from the WWII era games but I can't wait to get into it. It will take a while to get used to all the new units but I am looking forward to learning their uses. I have a fair understanding of the strategic level of Napoleonic warfare and the history but little understanding of the tactical level so this will be a fun way of learning. I was surprised to see railroads and airbases in 1812 Russia I am also not convinced about retaining the air-strike/air recon element from the original game but I will play a bit more before I make any hasty judgements! Looking good

Unfortunately this means my modgen.dat and e-files are not compatible with your version. I'll need to DL the latest version, and mod the dat file with my gfx. When I get round to doing this, I'll be sure to send you a copy.

Could you also send me the files too, please?

Will do. As regards your question about maps, the maps are fixed bitmaps, which can be made from scratch with some effort. I'm currently strugging with map bmps for the Battle of Orthez.

In general though, you can usually find a map to suit your scenario here:

We are planning a couple of AWI campaigns for our next project after PaG-Nap btw...

Glad your getting into it mate. As you've noticed, Robert had to use some WW2 maps for scenrios, hence the airbases and railways lol!

I probably agree about the 'cavalry charges as airstrikes'; I tend to edit my generals to make them super AA units to negate these.

Great to hear that you are planning AWI campaigns for PeG. I´m looking forward to them.

Meanwhile I will finish my Civilwar scenario (on which I´m working currently) and updating the AWI scenario.
Btw, may I add a new unit to my American Civilwar units request?

Looks like a gaming news website (Rock Paper Shotgun) plugged your Napoleonic mods Gareth. It's great to see your work getting more exposure!

Ah, thanks for the heads-up Erin

The mods are largely Robert Mary's btw; I've just made icons along with Haberdier.

I've got to ask - any news on Sea Kings?

                  Hey Gareth, thanks for asking
I haven't had a lot of personal time these last few months, though happily that's changing. I've been adding separate events files for most of the players in Sea Kings. I'm still ironing out some of the kinks there. Are you still up for a small miscellaneous art request?

Assuming I'm able to control my perfectionist tendencies, I feel like it should be pretty soon now, though that might sound a little familiar to anyone with some long term memory. Thank you everyone for being so patient with me!
