Your "Anyone tried it?" seems to imply that you tried deleting but it didn't work? Or did you just try finding out where to go to delete files and fail to find anything?

I know how to do it, but the site states that I do not have clearance to perform the action.

I was just wondering if anyone had managed to delete anything.

I want to delete all the old uploads that are no doubt taking up room.

There are a few bits on there I will delete to free up space. No point cluttering the place up!

... To be honest, though, I'm not sure to what extent deleting files actually deletes them. Deleted files can be restored again, so they must still remain somewhere, just tucked away a little further.

I guess the files get stored on Apolyton's servers. Are they pretty full up? Is there any real need to clear space or are the files small enough to make little difference?

Would be interesting to know a little bit about what makes Apolyton tick. As I have said many times before I am not a very technical person so please excuse me if I am being ignorant

I have no idea how much space Apolyton has, or how much the SL wiki uses. You'd have to ask Locutus (or Gramphos or Solver, probably).
