Excuse my ignorance. In post #1 you say " unrar the units graphics". How do I convert a .rar file?
Winrar is a compression program like winzip. If you decompress the rar-file with winrar (=unrar), you get a 16,4 MB folder containing high class bmp and and gif graphics and some other files.

I'd recommend 7-Zip instead. It can handle both Zip and Rar (among others). And it is free, open source software in contrast with WinZip and WinRar which are both shareware.
Thanks Merc. I could not get Winrar to work properly but 7-zip worked first time. Now I can enjoy a game of Red Front. This will be the first time I have played it!!!
Love the new units, especially the Finnish and Romanian summer Infantry, the Russian MG and the excellent Bulldozer

Yes, it's an inherrent problem with using spritegen to shift unit health bar upwards out of screenview. If there's enough demand, I can make a second set of sprites to use zoomed-in; unfortunately the player will have to choose between normal zoom (shift-z) and zoomed-in view (cntrl-z), or continually change sprites.
