Tech Tree Tech for Tech?

How many techs could Tech tree with tech tree techs, If Tech could tree techs?

Isn't there some utility for creating tech trees, that visually displays the tree?

I heard that merc made something, but I never was able to find it.

A tech tree maker would be the supreme utility!

Especially one that found errors...!

Now, that would be a useful utilty!

I had been starting a thread for developping something like that, and even offered (I think) to work on the algorithm behind it, but not the programming!

I might try to find the post mentionning it again!

@Curt & Tech: You can find the tech tree utility you were thinking of in my sig (Civ2Tech), which links to the tool request thread Cyrion bumped.

That *doesn't* display tech trees, though. It's a command-line program than can help debug faulty tech trees.

If someone is willing to make the programming, I could be convinced to work on the algorithm...

Anyway I believe I did most of the thinking last year, so it should be doable... But NOT in a hurry: RL is a bit busy...

That would be great. I always find making tech trees a challenge.
