      Groovy!
      Is that a beef-eater at 2,8?

... quite similar... but I think he's a Burgundian Archer (something like a royal guard, for king-emperor Charles V...). He wears Aragonese colour, however (but are almost the same colours of Burgundy...)

Both right - The Burgundian Archer is (2, 2) and the Yeoman of the Guard is (2, 8). The latter were a proper fighting force in Tudor times, rather than the crusty old feckers who guard the Tower of London now.

Gaugli: The Burgundian Archer pics I have always show them in Spanish yellow and red rather than Burgundian blu/purple and white. Presumably they adopted this uniform when Charles became king of Spain.

A very superb new selection of units, Gareth!

The polish crossbowman is brilliant! Not to mention the Welsh bowman too...!

The Muscovite, Polish and Hungarian units are useable from the mid-16th through to the late 17th C. as their dress didn't change that much. The Hungarian haiduk and light hussar could be used as Croatians, Albanians or Poles. The early 16th C. W. European units are fairly generic and can be used for any nation, with a few notable exceptions like the Habsburg Burgundian Guard, English Yeoman of the Guard and 1510-ish longbowman and French Guard.

When I have more free time I'll look at making some 15th C. units.
I loved that scenario, are there city and terrain gfx too?

Gareth: congratulations , especially for your Carolus unit, inspired to Tiziano Vecellio's painture (Carlo V at the battle of Muehlberg)

Thanks. I think the painting was by Titian wasn't it?

Edit: I've just googled Tiziano Vecellio and he was Titian. Please excuse my ignorance

                          Update ...

                          Hello fellers!

Thank you for the thread-jacking :B:

I have some updates for you all ... attached you find a couple of city edits I did using Curt's wonderful work. Both of them appear to be not really useable for my purposes of Italian cities but I haven't yet decided on that.

                          More to come soon ...

Nice city sets, jim ... though didn't Curt and Heresson make a Renaissance city set some time earlier. I was disappointed when an MGE-ized version of it didn't make it to Italian Wars...

Though your cities would fit in perfectly if the civs from Dictator 6 decided to do a bit of time traveling...

                              Well . . . .

When Bernd Brosing was still around, many years ago, he was very friendly and helpful AND I have always liked his cities graphix. I was frankly just itching for a chance to use his renaissance stuff in a scenario at some point.

Besides, you guys know I don't like that blocky stuff.
