It's like a third or fourth time I'm playing Red Front, and I finally managed to wipe off Germans completely. Their last stronghold was Bodo or whatever, third norwish city from the east. I've captured Berlin somewhere in 1943 I think, but at this point, Germans were still in Latvia and Romania, so it took me much time to finish the job. I still have a couple of turns to the end, I decided to free the working classes in Sweden (Finland was done with earlier), and already captured three cities, but with fortifications in each city, and coastal fortresses, this is going to be hard. I guess I will capture the coastals, but these two or three isolated cities in the mountains will be able to survive until the end. I should've attacked Sweden earlier

I think T-34 were not that useful. Sure, they have a lot of movement, and are great for field battles, but the end of the game are mostly sieges, so it's Katyusha for me
I have like 250 of them in Denmark waiting to be transported to Sweden. Each turn takes ages, so I don't know if I will ever finish it.

As I've already mentioned, I think the point at which Red Front isn't as strong as elsewhere is the map and city choice. I'm thinking of making a remake of it, but it'd force me to re-do the events and re-balance the game...
I don't have time for it right now anyway.

I assume that you were playing Red Front 1.4 . If so, then I cannot agree with the above quote. IMO, the weak point in RF 1.4 is that, with the correct strategy and by utilizing a loophole in events, it is possible to achieve world conquest before the end of 1942.

This time I am having a problem with Red Front (which I decided to try as everything else is broken + I heard it was the dogs!!!) bat file. When I try to run it, it just dissapears after a fraction of a second before I can choose option 1. I have had this problem before. Anyone got a solution?

Google the file "choice.com". Download and drop in the scenario directory. Also try the command prompt if you're using XP. Goto start menu/run. Type cmd. Then type "cd.." until you're at c: then "cd c:\programfiles\whatever" your redfront scenario folder. See if that works
