I think it's a Windows Vista related problem.

If it is to do with Vista then you need to find an XP based pc to play it on. Is it a new PC that has come with Vista, or a clean install of Vista on an old PC? How does the rest of Civ2 perform on it?

It's a PC I got over the summer that came with Vista. I got the same error when I tried it on the last turn, but when I reloaded then everything worked alright.

How does it work when you try other turns beyond this turn and the one previously? My guess is it could be because of me having to modifying the save for Rebel.

Do you still have access a PC which has got XP on it? If you do it might be worth playing your turns on as a short term measure.

I gave it another shot and got no errors this time and managed to play the turn, but for some reason I can't see the file when I want to attach it in the TAON directory. I can only get to it if I put it on the desktop.

Ups, sorry, didn't notice that, don't worry Nilat, I promise you I have no intentions to attack Prussia, if I put there units it was because probably squares became free that I will use in my next turn and that I don't want that you pick them while they are free

Speaking of free squares, we have to talk about them. It seems as though we are using squares, which belong to each other. Both of us. Can you confirm that on your turn?
