Howdy!

I have various options for my next scenario effort after Dalek,
and am sounding out what the mood is here in Scenario League.

Personally, I am in the mood to create a fantasy epic, but also I would like to create
a WW2 battle too...So I am wondering what you, the CIV2-playing types, would want to see...
I have put up a poll with some choices...Let me know what scenario is of interest to you...!

All scenarios will be for Test of Time.

As enticing as all those scenario concepts are, how about this? After defeating the Martians in War of the Worlds, the Humans invade Mars. You could have it be Victorian-era, or more modern, like the recent Tom Cruise picture.

There's always been a strange shortage of Napoleonic scenarios so I voted for the first option.

But the Victorian Adventure sounds nice...
I believe Sarsstock is doing an epic along those lines at the moment!

I wasn't thinking of putting him in, but if you did, you could give the player the chance to kill him.

If I stick with the options on the poll, I'd say Kaiser. Give me a chance to avoid (or prosecute better) at least one World War.

I voted for a SW scen, so fairlines units could come to use. Otherwise I want the ww2 europe scen discussed in the other thread.

Seriously, a Napoleon scen on a world map was just released. I know it's not Curts work but all people interested should really try it out. It even got fairline-style graphics. So that'll make that option obsolete MOHAHA!

I got the impression from the Dictator thread that it was a new Dictator installment under development, however if the opinions being taken into consideration I'd also throw my support behind a Star Wars "Grad Moff" scenario.

My reasoning besides of course being a diehard Star Wars fan is that I don't think a scenario has truly captured the saga to date yet. If you were to embark on a SW project as I hope you do, what era do you think you would be leaning towards? The Original Trilogy era? Prequel ara? Thrawn era? New Jedi Order era? KOTOR era?

If I was going for a SW scenario, it would be set in the outer sectors, in the Lucas-limbo between New Hope and Jedi...

You would be in command of a series of planets and would be charged with bringing imperial order to the entire sector.
Planetary defence, building imperial economy, upgrading of your space fleets, and fending off the evil Rebel Alliance terrorists!



The new Bitterfrost scenario would centre around the reconquest of Human lands from the Undead/Ancient pact.
Taking back the now overrun island is the main goal, with new human factions and new races to compete with...

Since you're asking, there's a great untapped wealth of material in Chinese history which would make for great scenarios. How about the the conquests of the Yuan dynasty; newly domesticated Mongol tribesmen versus the most technologically advanced nation of the age. The Mongol Yuan won of course, but met their Waterloo when they tried to invade Japan twice. Great stuff
