I've been very busy the last few monthes, having moved across the city and all. I also had to restore my computer twice due to 'issues' that seem just to be my monitor in the end. I'm now ready to get back to work on this. Anyone have fresh suggestions or comments?

I think the beginning of the scenario works perfectly. The North Korean invasion is terrifying! If you can get the Chinese intervention to work as well you will be laughing. Don't be afraid to give the Chinese a ton of very fast and mobile (alpine) Infantry units with go to commands sending them south. A good human player needs to be challenged and giving the Chinese huge numbers is historically accurate too!
Remember, the unit stats don't need to be symmetrical for the UN and the AI. There is no reason not to give all Chinese units the 'Ignore Walls/ZOC' flags and better attack stats from the UN. Just make sure their units cannot be bribed.
I really hope you get this finished this time Pat because this has the potential to be a great scenario!

Firstly I’d like to say, you have a great scenario here! One thing though, and this is more for historical accuracy than gameplay, but your Canadian soldier is wearing the wrong uniform/helmet.
The Canadian Army in Korea wore battledress, but it was of a greenish color, rather than Khaki:
Also, the army though they wore the “turtle” style helmet during WW2, Post War they reverted to wearing the WW2 style MK II helmet:

Wise decision! The turtle helmet looked sh*t! Who cares if it protected your noggin better. Style is everything!

@Curt: Will do, though it's been a while since I used any wiki and may stumble about trying to get it to work. I'll try later tonight.
@McMonkey: Good advice, there! I'll give it a real go to get this done in a satisfactory way. Thanks for the support!
@BC1871: I didn't draw that Canadian troop; my skill at graphics making is minimal at best. If someone could make me an updated unit, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
BTW, I miss those nation flags forum members used to have on 'Poly. They really added something, and highlighted what an international community we really are.

Some of my playtest notes so far:
I have made some minor alterations to the Unit file (attached). It is mainly for the artillery type units. It is not perfect but I think it is an improvement.
The North Korean thrust on Pusan is pretty easy to stop if you use the Tigercat and Banshee to block the roads. The NK don't seem to be able to just go around. Perhaps you could give these units longer range (IE distance) but make them Range 1 so they can't protect stacks or block roads.
The Inchon landings failed again. Only one Marine survived. I think I cured this in my last playtest by playing at King instead of Deity level. I think it would be good if you could make holding Pusan harder and the Inchon landings a bit stronger.
I still think the South Korean army should be better represented. The initial units could be the Militia type Constabulary while you could add an event that would create a controlled number of actual ROK Infantry each turn.
You need to remove the DEBUG instruction from the events file as the game takes an eternity to begin.Attached Files

Sorry for not replying sooner. Thanks for the units graphics update; even I thought the artillery needed a brush up, but didn't know where to find them. As for the naval planes being used to block roads, I admit I didn't think of that tactic in my initial playtests, though a longer move and range of 1 does certainly fix it. I will increase Marine def or HP (or both) to make the Inch'on landing more survivable, perhaps. As for SK units, I like the idea; any suggestions as to which unit to drop to give ROK Infantry? Again, thanks for your feedback. I'm working on this one spottily, given a very busy RL schedule that just popped up.

Here's a historically accurate version of a Canadian Infanteer as they would have appeared during the Korean War (Winter Uniform).
