In case anyone's missed it, here's a thread of Herresson's tour of Syria. It's a beautiful and cultured place - not quite what I expected. http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=145988

He might be entitled to his opinion, but few people agree with such stark anti-Israel positioning. Putting the name of the country in quotation marks and referring to it by the "zionist threat" puts its right to existence into question. I certainly hold no respect for that kind of "opinion".

So if you want to debate Herreson's views, do it on the thread - in OT. I wanted to draw the SL communities attention to the travels of one of our members - that's all.

Keep the comments about Herreson's trip in the Off-Topic forum. I don't want any BS gumming up the Civ2 forums. Got it everyone?
We all have our own views, but fortunately for everyone's sanity we have an off-topic forum to discuss such views. Bringing a thread about a Civ2 modder's trip to those in the SL is fine, but discussing such trip is best left to the proper arena, namely the original thread. The SL forum is not about discussing opinion and views of any one member, it's about Civ.
So knock it off or I'll call on another moderator less congenial.
