Oooh, this sounds very intriguing indeed. And that is a nice map. How far along the development are you?

Those ancient days of your youth. Of course we remember!

Looking forward to this one Tanelorn. What're your thoughts on WoW's, events, and gov'ts? Keeping it a surprise is fine, but I'm incurably curious.

Thanks everybody. Just got back from my favourite little island, trying to set things back on track .No screnies yet - I am working on city placement now, setting up the Russian principalities. I'll merge the lancers (hobilars, border reivers) with the ginettes, to free an extra slot. The stats don't really justify a separate unit. Perhaps I'll do a westen lancer and an eastern lancer/archer (Pole, Lithuanian, Russian, Balkan, Caucasian) with intermediate stats to the true horse archer (Hungarian/Bulgar/Cuman/Caucasian) instead. -and have the Spainsh lancers (ginettes) spawned as veterans per berber horse kills to compensate somewhat.

This scenario looks so grand...I love medieval adventures...!

I assume there will be an emphasis on conquering and building?

And will this one be for MGE?

                          Hope this didn't die

Is this a dead scenario idea, or is it hosted somewhere?

Neither... I had completed the map and most of the "provisional" units, then summer ended, back to work, blah blah blah, other ideas etc. problem with too many cities & unit stats -lost interest. However, these days I was working with the same map in an earlier era with far less cities and readily available ToT units. Finished city placement, brainstorming on techs. Not much to show yet. Who knows?

I'm not as interested in ToT, but any help I can give is freely offered. Should be a nice scenario.

Hope you can get the ball rolling on that one again, as the map is most juicy!

Any chance of posting up the map?
