One of the reasons I wanted to make this scenario in Freeciv is to compare the AI to Civ2. In a Civ2 game, the AI makes little use of the vast expanses of unsettled land in the game. It will be interesting to see whether the Freeciv AI does the same.
I changed the "a###" block to "f" so I could see the map in order to place the cities. Once the editor allows me to switch between players and edit visibility I'll go back and change it to more like the original, as it's hard work editing vision in the save file.
If anyone fancies a hand at editing, may I recommend placing AWACS as an efficient way to reveal the map. (Just disband these units when done).
