    You're right. My CIV II got messed up, probably when I had to reinstall it a few months ago. It took me a couple of days to discover that I apparently forgot to also install the MGE Patch 1.3. [duh]

    Don't know why but, without the patch, the US ships are spawned in Okinawa and Iwo Jima rather than Hobart and San Diego.

      Our_Man,

      can I ask how your game went, seem you to have played a pretty orthodox game. I'm thinking of doing version three by splitting the scenario into two to bypass my no file swapping rule. i.e. you can use the save game from part i for part ii. I'm particularly intersted in how well the americans counter-attacked.
