now that i think about it the balcan wars of 1912 and 1913-14 wouldnt be really interesting as a scen, since in the first war the ottoman empire just collapsed, and in the second it was everyone else (including the ottomans) against bulgaria, which signed most of its newly gained land away, without many significant battles.

What about the second messenian war? (messenia vs Sparta, in the 7th century bc) It had an rpg feel, with Aristomenes of Messenia playing a role similar to Spartacus in the scen of the same name

the sepoy mutiny, the crimean war, AND the Russo Turkish war are all treated in "The Great Game" a scen on the 19th century competition between Russia and Britain for dominance in the mideast and central and south asia. Of course that may not be what you have in mind

I love the idea of the rise of the Teutonic state.
On that theme, how about the initial spread of Islam? End it, say, 1200? Start either when Muhammed starts his proselytizing, or with his death, when they really went on their conquests. I'd think with him still there would be fun, because you would still have strong states in Byzantium and Persia, along with the Abyssinians.

Another idea: the rise of the Ming dynasty. How would you have handled the treasure fleets? Did you know there is evidence interpreted as Chinese having landed in the Americas in the early 1400s?

The rise of the Teutonic state is a wonderfull idea for a scenario, but I belive we lack any proper maps for it.

There are no new scenarios about native americans, or the conquest of the Aztec and Inca empires. Those thet we have are "goodies but oldies". I was thinking or reviving the Alba de America scenario, but I lack proper city graphics.
Has anybody seen some good Aztec-like city graphics lately?

The trouble is that there would be very little variation in units: stone axemen, rock throwers, er, bigger stone axemen....

                        Hi all!
I knew a Teutonic (Deutsch Orden) scenario, quite old, with a map of Baltic regions.
More, I know there are a pair of scenarios about Crimean war: I don't like much the first, the second was better (altough maybe map was quite little), by Vale_Paladin. I wrote Paladin about his scenario cause I thought it could be nice to have another scenario more centred on the Crimean peninsula ('cutting' out the other fronts). My humble opinion of course

I waited a lot (3-4 years ago) for an Incas/Pizarro scenario projected by Fiera (missing in action!)
                        That's all folks!

                        varwnos: nice units . Kalispera!
