Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
only some quick fixes to highlighted problems, so there will be no noticeable changes.
there might be a version 3 later with some of the bigger changes suggested by players but for now I am just trying to identify the infrequent bugs and apply a quick fix, you know like infantry being upgraded to submarines if you happen to capture Lend Lease.
Hi, I'm afraid I can't give you much help at the moment; you caught me at a pretty bad time. My laptop with my saved game is in Glasgow and I'm back in Ireland, so I can't give you any detailed feedback for 3 weeks at least.
I can tell you I acheived 32 objective points, but failed to make peace with the Allies, therefore losing the game under the house rules. The American counterattack from Australia was quite persistent, while their Pacific presence was muted. I'll post the save file when I get back to Glasgow.
STDs are like pokemon... you gotta catch them ALL!!!
About that nuke idea: In Vanilla Civ2 games I experienced that the AI will attack if your civ should prove *way* too strong - regardless if they would be attacking your armour with Crusaders. Also, me having nuclear capabilities and all other civs not did not prevent them from attacking nonetheless.
I am quite sure Vanilla Civvers experienced similar or pretty much likely AI behaviour, so I for one doubt this - but I guess this needs to be tested further.

yeah, for some reason many of the troops (and planes etc.) spawned in hawaii/midway head back to the USA instead of heading west towards Japanese territory.
I didn't sweep through Indochina, partly due to bad planning on my part. Taking out the European cities was pretty easy, but when the Allies declared war on me I didn't have enough men on the ground to occupy and hold the area... my army was busy attacking the European colonies in the islands off Singapore.
I held off their attack in Indochina, but it required me to divert troops away from the fighting near Australia. Due to this I lost some cities to the Allies in the Indonesian archipelago.
Once I had sufficient ground troops amassed, I launched my assault. Again, bad planning led me to take more casualties than I would have liked, but I eventually captured all of the Malaysian peninsula. I then turned my attention north to capture the rest of Indochina. Spawned commandos were a minor irritant, nothing more. They inflicted no casualties.
The only city I bothered to take in India was Calcutta: the others were not objectives and therefore not worth my time or resources.

At one point the Japanese seemed overly strong, and it semed that the balance was off. I was thrown off track by the faulty AI spawning in Agricola's games, and it seemed to me I was a pretty crappy player even after knowing exactly when everything was going to happen.
But your game seems pretty much my in line with my intentions.
