looks like a Jim Panse map of one of his scens.

@AOF: Are you thinking to develop a sea warfare some similar to the WW2 atlantic war?
are you goin' to apply Stackable terrains to the sea tiles?

i hate to bring up stuff like this so late, but... doesn't europe seem kind of small? the battled for kilometers, 30 or less a day IIRC, and very little of the battle was in cities. from the screenshot taken, i quickly see the game turning into a battle for citires, not in the fields and woods and along rivers where bridges across the elbe and rhine were imperative to the Soviet plan of attack.

what does stackable tiles do? just stops every ship from being killed if one is attacked? I may do that...hadn't thought of it.

they do mention that Hamburg turns into a semi-Stalingrad.

                    re:

sorry Jim, i atributed it to you since i saw it used in most of your scens, but now i noticed it first in Harry's project.

@AOW: If you dont think to apply terrains squares, i strongly suggest you to make high defensive values to some kind of naval units, to simulate good protection for convoys.

Looking at the map, there may be trouble getting the AI
to bring those vital units from the USA to Europe...!

I suggest using a maprect command on the US east coast.

Seems like this will be an interesting scenario.

Not to be too picky or anything, but since I'm a swede, Malmö is placed totally wrong. It's on the west coast.

I see lots of railways. Giving unlimited movement to large armies produces unrealistic results, and heavily favours the human player. Many designers use roads instead, giving a fairly high road movement rate, and rename them as railways. Giving the Railroad advance a no, no prerequisite prevents any civ from researching it so they can't build real railways.

I'm pretty sure they are roads and the suburbs are real railways...

those are roads. the railways are city buildings.

                              Curt, what's the maprect do?

this is mostly a NATO civ, but i think playing as the russians could be equally fun.

as for Malmo..sorry. ...i just needed a city there.

You clould move Malmö 4-7 of where it is now, and it'd be good I think...
