i hate to bring up stuff like this so late, but... doesn't europe seem kind of small? the battled for kilometers, 30 or less a day IIRC, and very little of the battle was in cities. from the screenshot taken, i quickly see the game turning into a battle for citires, not in the fields and woods and along rivers where bridges across the elbe and rhine were imperative to the Soviet plan of attack.

@AOF: Are you thinking to develop a sea warfare some similar to the WW2 atlantic war?
are you goin' to apply Stackable terrains to the sea tiles?

re:
sorry Jim, i atributed it to you since i saw it used in most of your scens, but now i noticed it first in Harry's project.
@AOW: If you dont think to apply terrains squares, i strongly suggest you to make high defensive values to some kind of naval units, to simulate good protection for convoys.

I see lots of railways. Giving unlimited movement to large armies produces unrealistic results, and heavily favours the human player. Many designers use roads instead, giving a fairly high road movement rate, and rename them as railways. Giving the Railroad advance a no, no prerequisite prevents any civ from researching it so they can't build real railways.
