  • The Restoration Aftermath

Okay, so we got most of our stuff back now, but now we need to make sure everything works again like it's supposed to.

So far I've closed and untopped all the old graphics showcases. I added links to them all in St Leo's Great Library thread. Use that index thread to find the old threads, and post your stuff in the new threads...

I'm also considering merging the 2 Source Code threads, but I've held that off for a bit.

Any other things that need to be taken care of?

Are all posted attachments & files linked to the upload cache posting as they are supposed to?

I recall trying to download an attachment yesterday and it was not working

I could just provide a link to the old source code thread in my initial post with all the information. That way it won't be cluttered. The old thread had pre-beta stuff in it anyways.

EDIT: Done, link added at end of initial post.

I don't know how it all works technically. All the backups (including attachments) are supposed to be restored, but there was a short period missing.

The attached images in the old showcase threads seem to work anyway...

          Thanks Harry

I've added links to the new thread in both the first and last post of the old thread... St Leo already locked it, I guess. ( or did I do that? can't remember now ) I've untopped it now as well.

Yeah, um, that was in the hints & tips subforum... Markos still has to restore that... St Leo's already on it, I believe.

Markos could probably need some more pushing in that A/C thread though.

Hmm... my thread on the rules.txt variables may be gone for good.

We can assume the post count issue is dead in the water...

I am not terribly bothered about it...These disasters happen.
