  • E O N

Man, Eyes of Night is a trip. I like slower games, bigger maps 1x1 where building is priority over blitzkrieg immediate assaults but I must admit 2x2 is fun, like speed chess.

After tonight's game (a fluke of course ) he told me he'd knock me out of the box 5 times in a row like some other chap (forgot his name, something with God in it) who dared to challenge his throne back in the day.

I still like regular style 1x1 (so if you want to play messege me) but I'm accepting EON's challenge for a settler and horseman 2x2 bonanza.

Well I lost 4 of 6. I got to hand it to the guy, he's got the best 2x2 skills I've seen. Statue of Liberty in 700BC or something.

Still it's not really my style. I'm not much of a micromanager.

That means 4 out of 6 games are won with pure skill and 2 out of 6 are won with obscene amounts of luck.

                Sounds a bit oversimplified.

That's why I like 1x1 with no huts, no room for excuses, at least not 1/3 of the time

Hmm, talk about luck, without huts your landingspot gets even more important so its basicly the luck of the land.

Well that's why it's good to plan on a balanced map too.

The random generated maps usually are pretty unbalanced.

Actually... I hope he still is, and I hope he is doing well.
The last time I talked to him about it... He had big plans.

And knowing Eyes... he is usually good at whatever he applies himself to

At this point i'm not sure I can even play tennis for fun anymore. I've had back problems since I was 15 which was trouble enough but now I'm having elbow problems and when I started taking my serve up around 120 I had to stop playing. I'm pursuing other things right now that might allow me to have the money to fix said problems, let alone retire and never work again for the rest of my life.
