Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Here is that first attempt Steph, now as I said if you do indeed want to show the artillery piece in action then I honestly can't think of anything else than something along these lines. The artillery piece with the standard crew plus the horse with a solider in the background.
Well glad its to your liking, ye fellow educated fool lol. This one's really progressing well by the looks of things, two weeks to the day you announced this little venture and it looks like the unit graphic is nearly done!!
I have a question about the timing and the length of the fighting. Specifically, will the human player have the option of continueing the fight on a fourth or even fifth day if so they choose? Assuming that by then there hadn't been a breakthrough or decisive victory on either side? Or will the battle be considered a Union victory by default by the end of July 3rd assuming again that there hasn't been a breakthrough by either side.
Also, on an off topic note I was wondering what ever happened to your "Oktyabr" project in which the Soviets win the Cold War in the mid 70's or so? I heard a rumor that it will be shifted to ToT as well, is there any truth to that my friend?
Steph, you should reserve a unit slot for an indestructible (or nearly so) 'garrison' for each side's 'city,' whatever form that may take (key building or such). You need a nearly invincible unit, as if that city is taken, the whole side is wiped out (as you know). Perhaps call the garrison 'mess staff' or 'supplies corps' or other such name.
@ Chris: I assume that is settled now, creation shall continue somewhen next week when I will have some more time to spare. Thank you for all you´ve done so far
@ Patrick: Now that´s a brilliant idea, thanks a lot
Steph, this thread's been dormant for a while now. I'm just curious if you're going to finish this scen, or if this means you've abandoned it. I mean, though my contribution is minimal, I'm more worried about people like Chris, who've offered significant support.
@ Patine: Not do fear ... I have not abandoned it nor the intention to it. It´s just mid-June, the semster´s end is drawing closer & closer - and I need to fix my machine before I can continue
I'm curious Curt, you just mentioned a Napoleonic epic done in the same style as this here scenario, meaning a specific historical battle. Do you have such a battle in mind for Napoleon? Perhaps Waterloo?
