Thank you. But now I am behind in the thread count. Probably my posts have been a little dull lately. I should not have put in those long pages of beaker calculations. But a few remarks about Brad and Angelina should fix that.

I will post more saves rather than screenshots in my thread.

war declared - Chariot 62,26 attacks a warrior 62,24 and kills him. The warrior that was bribed recently is revenged!

ST - Did you also send me this by email? I assume you meant to, so I'll DL your save and play from it unless you object VERY soon!

Guilty! Seriously, I will load some saves soon, but I've had too much to do recently...

I'm watching both your threads, so I can't say much except that it is fascinating to watch two different strategies playing out.

I can't successfully download the hotseat ssaves, so I am restricted to the jpg screenshots.

I guess Grigor uses a Mac. Maybe another watcher could open one of our *.hot saves in SP, save it as a *.sav, and post it here. But if a player does this, it may reveal info about the opponent's cities and units.

I think they can change (but maybe not for bribery). In this game, the Zulus are now Supreme, but we were once Mighty. IIRC we are also Spotless, but in the Hammer PBEM I started out as Honorable. I assume the Americans are now Mighty ?

Yes, some kind spectator could transform some .hot saves to .sav, if Grigor wants (?)

A bribery never causes a war, but I killed your warrior and so started a war.
Yes, Americans are Mighty. (But in the Seeds PBEM the power doesn't change.)
And in both Seeds and this PBEM the Key Civ theory doesn't work, it looks the Key Civ has always an equal number of techs like I have.

I am not sure that even the brutal murder of an innocent Zulu will hurt your rep if you have not made diplomatic contact.

Thanks again for your notes on visibility (sent by email today). I hope you will post them for everybody when you are done.

Innocent Zulu? Hunting in my forest?

Grigor, if you can open .sav files ... try to rename the .hot files to .sav

The Zulu's were slightly lost and did not recognize these lands as an American forest. You should post warning signs around your forests.
