@Eivind, yes, I finished drawing the gigamap of a certain war-torn ultra-polluted planet last week actually.
My real life has become even more complex and demanding lately though, which means no deadlines yet. I am somewhat skeptical about how to draw those space marines, I'll figure it out somehow.
Hoarding the units might be too selfish though, somebody else might be inspired.
@Erika, these are some killer spaceships!
@Platypus Rex, Jim Panse made a number of very good Turtledove related scenarios, like "How few remain", "Guns of the south" etc. You could check the old threads in the Great Library section, perhaps (I am not so sure everything is in place after last years "site overhaul")

A request for any Norse, Celtic, Babylonian, or Egyptian mythological creatures anyone could create, if I could.
You know, goblins, dwarves, trolls, valkyries, and giants (for Norse), boggarts, redcaps, thalen-sidhe, fomorians, and cluricain (leprachauns) (for Celts), lammasu, lamia, and annunaki (for Babylonians), and wadjets, petsuchos, mummies, giant scarabs, and phoenixes (for Egyptians). Would this be possible?
