here's a bunch of Lord of the Rings units i've got for a scenario i started a while back, but only recently got motivated to actually finish.
contained herein, Gondor cavalry, Saruman, trebuchet, Grond the battering ram, Rohan horseman, Rohirrim, Nazgul, Sauron the eye, light Haradrim, heavy Haradrim, Corsair raider, oliphant, Corsair ship, and Orthanc (which is actually a city in the scenario, but i thought it looked ok, so i put it in here).
most of these are modified from somebody else's units (i believe all by Favfly), that i've made various major or minor changes to. Orthanc and Sauron the eye are made from scratch.
i'd also like to ask, if somebody with talent wouldn't mind redoing the eye, 'cause i think it still looks kinda crappy.
and if anybody has a cool looking Uruk-hai, could you hook me up, and post it here? i've made several attempts at it, but i'm still not terribly good at this unit making stuff.

Well Varwnos, if Age of Mythology is correct then the Atlanteans seige weaponry would have looked a little something like this. An Atlantean Catapult and Helepoleis.
Does anyone have any idea's what they're ships may have looked like? Whats Age of Mythology's take on the naval power of Atlantis?

Those siege engines have nothing to do with me so remove my sig. The right-hand one is by BeBro.
@cousarmy: Don't do yourself down, the Eye of Sauron is pretty good

No need to remove the pics - I was asking that you remove my signature from them as they weren't drawn by me. As I said, the right-hand one was by BeBro.

Well glad to know no offence was taken Gareth, I'd hate to offend you with that request of mine being considered .
Now Cousarmy0001 I haven't palyed AOM but from what I was able to read the helepoleis was a tall seige engine. However if the Atlanteans used the ballista like helepoleis in AOM then I'll make one of those up and release all the three in the same unit file.

First of all ofcourse i was joking about aom being an estimed source
the helepolis (helepoleis is plural) was a tall tower, full of siege weapons, some of whioch were also balistas. It also had catapults and rams. The biggest helepolis of antiquity needed nearly 3000 men to move it around, and was something like the german huge siege guns of ww1, not very usable but made an impression

Varwnos, you will know - didn't Demetrius coin the phrase Helepolis to describe his oversized siege engine? I drew this rather poor attempt to replace a unit in Prometeus' Antigonus scenario. It pales besides BeBro's masterpiece posted by Sarsstock
