My favorite Tankette, the Skoda S-1d. Built in Czechoslovakia for the Royal Yugoslav Army and used later by Romania. It only had a two man crew but it was armed with a version of the 47mm Skoda vz36 anti-tank gun, one of the most hard hitting of its day. It reminds me of a scaled down Hetzer. Not sure how they preformed in combat. I guess the commander was also the gunner, loader and machinegun operator which would have kept him very busy. I can imagine it would have been useful if used as an ambush weapon which could shoot then scoot. Generally though the Tankette theory was flawed and probably owed more to budget restrictions than military practicality.
I might try and use some spare parts to mock up one of these wee beasties.
I found a tank I believe is the Italian P40 Heavy Tank in an old file. Didn't think I had it anymore. It has armored skirts, so I am not 100% certain.
Considering its main armament, a 75mm gun, and its armor thickness, the P40 is closer to a medium tank than a heavy one. Its armor is between 60mm-20mm thick, and as such comparable to that of a 1943 Panzer IV, 80mm-15mm.

If you look earlier in the thread you'll find my attempts at making "squad" infantry units, and the fact that I wish I could've made an SS machine gunner for the SS summer squad.
Well, I looked at the Eurasian Wars SS guy, and realized I could do some modifications, and voila! these guys:
Really like the Subs! I will probably make use of one or two of these units when I finish Fortress Europe and in the next version of Rise of the Dictators.
